What I love about my job is that it brings together so many of my favorite things: art, family, weddings, children, animals, and nature. Most of all I love connecting with others. It is important to me to make that connection during a photo session (and in life), and then to capture it through my lens. Getting to do that as my job is truly a  blessing especially if I can capture significant moments for others that will last a lifetime.

I can’t remember a time that art was not a part of my life.  I majored in drawing and obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toledo, where I became interested in photography as a hobby. For a long time I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do when I "grew up", but then the answer found me.

After being photographed for my entire wedding weekend by Bethany, and then seeing all the magical moments that she captured, I thought, "what a wonderful way to incorporate art and working with people!"  I’ve been hooked ever since.
