Today I got to teach a class! My florist friend Jen, from Beautiful Blooms, invited me to teach her class how to photograph their floral arrangements for their portfolio! The first part of the class I told them how I got to where I am in my career and then I taught them some pointers on how to take some better photographs. I think they did very well! Not only do they rock at putting together arrangements, they can now take a photograph to show off all of their "ingredients"! Here are just a few! Thanks for inviting me to your class! As many of you know I am in the Big Sisters of America mentoring program! It is such a rewarding experience, I am loving every minute of it! My little is such a wonderful kid, she is smart and funny and of course a super cutie! She also loves getting her photo taken, so of course I couldn’t be happier with the match! Today we went out to do a photo shoot and it is all her! She picked what she wanted to wear and she picked the locations and I didn’t even tell her how to pose! I wanted the whole session to let her personality shine through and I think it did! Moms! This is a great way to casually capture your child’s spirit and personality; it is fun for them and a great way to freeze them as they truly are. When they are older you will treasure the photos! Anyway, here is what we came up with today, Rosa I am truly blessed by you!:

Balloons are a great prop, kids love balloons and they are a great color accent!

Meet Miss Leah! Just a month ago I photographed waiting parents T.J. and Jenny, and their little miracle is here! She is super cute and I was so happy to have the honor to do her first photo shoot! She is five days old and itty bitty! Beware, this post is giant (aren’t they all?) I also have some great vendor information for new mommies AND for experienced mommies so make sure to read on!

Back in May Bethany and I did a session of all the men in this family and we had a blast!

Well, I went back over the weekend to get shots of James and Theresa in their sports uniforms, she plays softball and he plays football. Again I had tons of fun-and I swear it looks like they each grew 5 inches since May! They are both so photogenic and fun to be around- what a great session:) Check it out…

Hi everybody, Tabitha here with some photos of sweet little Declan who just turned 2 years old. We decided that MacQueen’s Orchard would be a great place to do the session and it was SO much fun:) We climbed trees, played hide and seek, picked apples, drank cider, and Declan had his very first pony ride!

His baby sister came along too and I couldn’t resist grabbing a few shots of her (can’t wait for her full session:)

Aren’t they too cute? He has the longest eyelashes.

Yes we had a wonderful bridal show! We booked a couple weddings, and have tons more brides excited about our work and what we are doing! We thought we’d share with you what our booth looked like! So much work went in to getting our booth designed and perfected and we think it came out great so here are the details!

This wedding was a blast for us! There were so many cool details and the bridal party was so much fun We got so many great shots, so it was hard to choose only a few for the blog. Ross and Melissa met at the firehouse where they both work. Because of that, they drove off from the ceremony in a bright red fire truck! Not only that they left us two hours for photos We went to the firehouse to grab some shots, and then ran over to sidecut. One more extra detail they had was instead of wedding cake…..they had Coldstone Creamery ice cream! Melissa LOVES ice cream so it was a super cute idea! Here are our faves:
