For those of you who haven’t heard my hubby-do and I are expecting our first kiddo in 4 months! We booked a vacation two days before we found out and so our vacation then became our babymoon! We took an Alaskan cruise and then spent that following weekend in Seattle. It was such a blast and it was great to have that time alone with him, no puppy, and more importantly no computers! We both work from home and have slight cases of workaholicism (I know it’s not a word but work with me). I thought I’d share a few photos from our adventure!

Obviously not the best composed photos I’ve ever taken but I was so surprised! I’m just glad I nabbed the shot!

LOVE this, 65 is warm but tank tops and flip flops warm? At the bottom of Mendenhall Glacier? Gotta love Alaskans! They said it was a heat wave and that means family picnic!

Every day was like this for us! Clear blue skies and sunny!

John Hopkins glacier….it was awesome to hear it cracking and then see ice fall!

I just liked this plant, and that’s our cruise ship in the background.

Fall is well underway in Alaska but I did find one lingering flower

Back in Seattle!

Many of my favorite photographers reside in Seattle and I have seen this wall on many of their blogs! I was a little star struck ( even though I didn’t meet any of them, it was just cool standing where they work!) I kept hoping to get a glimpse of one of them somewhere and my poor hub had to listen to me babble on about people he didn’t know for the entire weekend! :)

We also stopped off at the aquarium….they have some amazing displays there!

Pike’s Place…another spot that graces many photographer’s blogs! PS I could spend a week in there it’s awesome!

So even after all the amazing four course (and even six course) meals on the cruise ship….this is still the best tasting thing to ever grace my lips! It’s called European sipping chocolate and you can only get it at a place called the Chocolate Box. After one sip I about moved into the store!
So glad we took our babymoon and took time off from our jobs to reconnect and I definitely feel more ready for the baby to come! Also really glad to be back, I honestly love my job and have been looking forward to this week and the tons of work ahead of me!
September is nearly fully booked so if you want a spot get going and email me! October is getting there as well so be sure to get in what you need before winter hits!
