Kylie proved that pink and blue don't look nursery! She took pink and blue and made that color combo rock!

Loved the details! Such great lighting at the church! I have lots of albums so I'll keep posting more between sessions!

Love Package Album {Toledo Maternity & Newborn Photography}

We have our Love package which includes the maternity session and the newborn session together and it includes an album to remember these precious time in every parent's life! I thought I would share a few page spreads from Kailey and Rankin's Love Album!
You can check out their maternity session and baby Rankin's newborn session as well as their birth documentary!

The book comes with 24 pages so 12 page spreads total and it is split in half….half for the maternity photos and half for your precious new one's first photos! I know Kailey loved her book and I was thrilled to deliver it myself! Not only is this a big benefit from booking our Love package but you save some moolah too by booking the sessions together! I really loved working with Kailey and Rankin and being there for all of baby Rankin's first moments! I hope I get to continue to watch them grow as a family…there is so much love there. Adam and Stacy have also booked the Love package plus birth documentary. We are just waiting on Baby B's arrival!!!!! Trust me there is a lot more to unfold with that story and I am having a hard time being patient!

Little side note, June is booking very quickly. If you would like to reserve a June date be sure to email me (booking about two weeks in advance and that gap is getting bigger by the day!) I have one session slot left for the second week and then we are booking into the third! Talk to you all soon!

Behind the Scenes~A Look at 2010 {Toledo Photography}

I know everyone is reminiscing about 2010 but I figured why not? Better throw my two scents in! We had a seriously amazing year. Got to photograph clients again as well as photographed many new clients! I got to cuddle lots and lots of babies, play with some cute and funny kids and photograph some amazing couples at their weddings That is just the beginning though. When we photograph an event we then bring the photos to our office computers and edit them. Editing takes double the time of the event. After that there are products that need to be created (albums etc) and that’s where Andrea comes in I’m sure you have all heard me speak of Andrea! She is our amazing in house graphic designer! She takes our photos and arranges them and makes them look even better! I figured she needed a shout out considering she made 2010 look awesome. Here’s a look at some of my favorite album spreads Andrea created this year:

Not only does Andrea create our story albums but she also takes care of our newborn announcements and they are stunning! Here’s a few from one session:

Introducing Andrea!

We would like to welcome and introduce Andrea, our new graphic designer! She is an amazing artist and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board! She will be playing a big role in our products, namely the books! Story books and parent albums are now her artwork! She made a sample album for the bridal show coming of Dustin and Kelly who we photographed last fall!

I told you she was fantastic didn’t I? I hope all our brides are as excited as I am! ~B

Matt and Sara’s album

I really love what I do. I know I say that all the time, but my job has so many different aspects to it: meeting new people, capturing memories, and creatively preserving those memories! Each part of my job demands creativity and that is a fun challenge! Each couple is different and so therefore each album should be unique to them. I love when I finish an album page and it just fits the couple. Matt and Sara’s wedding was a blast, very urban chic. They had there cermony at the First United Methodist in BG and the stained glass windows matched their colors. Then their reception was at the Event Center in Toledo which looks like a post-modern art gallery! Needless to say this album is fun for me! Here are a few pages, and yes they are my favorites!

As you know from their original post, which you can see here, they went to a bar after the ceremony and before the reception. They had some down time and it was obviously fun!
