This was Jack's mood board…I had this ready to go when I was getting details together for his party. It's a trick I learned from Nikki at Elite Events, she makes one for every client. Granted she is a professional at this and hers look way more awesome..but it definitely helped give me direction!

This was the first thing the guests saw, the invitation! I made 3D invites that looked like cracker jack boxes but the inside was all the party info!

Some of these ideas you might recognize from a party thrown by Elite Events…yes I tried to steal those ideas! Those girls do a great job and I cataloged ideas!

I got mason jars here. Added some grass for a centerpiece…can't bring in the whole ball field so I brought in a piece of the ball field!

I got this bucket from here. She makes decorated ones but I knew a plain one would be perfect to keep the coca cola cold!

I used these as favor bags! I got them here. She has some really cool stuff too!

These are actually cupcake toppers but I figured they'd look just as cute in the cookies! I got them here. You gotta check out her stuff, she does all kinds of great birthday details! You could get your whole party from her practically!

So the left photo was to let everyone know they can sign his baseball (that was his 'guestbook'…I learned normal guestbooks are out and you have to do something creative! …again from Nikki!) I got the tin from here. I used it to keep potato chips in! We kept the food simple, hot dogs, chips, lemonade and coca cola. It felt like ball park food!

I got these as favors for everyone (adults included) and so everyone got a prize! I did get one for me too, figured I could use a party favor! My prize inside was a little puzzle piece! So cute!

Each kid also got a baseball for a favor!

I got the coca cola caps from here. Thought it added a cool element. I also added the actual photo of him so you all know I didn't actually put a blue photo in a frame on display!

The banner I made, couldn't find one I liked!

I don't own six of the same chairs so we went ahead and mix matched chairs! Everyone had a different chair, gave it kind of an eclectic look!

Of course Aunt Tabitha came She did all the action shots of his first feeding below!

Bean was wearing a cracker jack shirt to match his party theme! His shirt was made by Big Daddy graphics! I'm going to do his six month photos in it so you can get a really good view of it. They did a fantastic job!

Then it was time for his first ever bite of food, avocado! He just loved it!

He had quite the audience!

I was feeling joy watching him eat and love it so much! He just makes my heart melt and keeps my face so smiley!

He seriously would not let go of that spoon!

Sweet angel boy, you have made these last 6 month of our lives the best ones yet! I am so glad you are mine and I am loving watching you grow and learn! We love you so much!!

This is the guest's first inkling of something going on. That's right, it's the invitation with a cutout shush on the front! Can you guess the party colors?

The invites were 3D. The shush is on the front and then they unfold to see all the info inside!

Her name looks so pretty in that font. BTW Nikki does all the designing herself. Yeh, she's that good.

An overall look at the hall

LOVE these lanterns. They added such a cool element to the dance floor. Nikki even jazzed up the ceiling! OH and p.s. check out that lighting! Perfect dramatic lighting.

The colors were tied in everywhere, it was awesome. I mentioned to Nikki that I liked the colored water in the vases and she stated that it was to bring color all the way down. She doesn't even allow plain water for her clients. Every detail is there.

The BEAUTIFUL cake! The cake was done by Jane's Cakes. Kati added the flowers and I think she did an excellent job! Of course sticking to their idea board!

Even the bows on the lanterns matched.

They event rented this display for the alcohol and different glasses for each drink!

The gorgeous flowers were done by Sharon Johnson. You can contact Elite Events and they can give you her info.

It was finally time for the birthday girl to arrive! She arrived right on time as Kati had planned and was totally shocked…don't ya think?

He made a very touching speech about his wife:)

He thanked her parents for bringing her into this world and then sharing her with him Yeh…tears.

Then at the end of his speech he revealed her gift! The painting was done by Quest For Fire Studios in Toledo.

Then the lights went down and the party was off!

I hope she made a good wish!

Her cake had sparklers on top for extra flare!

Another one of my favorite features. Elite Events created a wish tree. Waaay better than a guest book! Not only do you get messages from your guests to keep but they are displayed and add such a pretty 3D element to your event!

Today I went out to Toledo Dog Training for Dexter’s birthday bash! He had a big birthday party and proceeds were donated to Cavalier Rescue USA. They had me out today to do posed photos of Dexter and his friends!

Here’s the Birthday boy! So well behaved and only a year old!

I also had to throw one in of my little darling! She came to work with me today! She will be 11 months old in a couple days She’s getting so big!!!

It’s been a weekend full of dogs around here! I love it! I have more to post from today too! Plus more this week!

This is Tabitha again with new photos from a delightful birthday party that I was lucky enough to photograph. The party was for one of the sweetest little girls I’ve ever met, Rosemary, who just turned 5 years old! Rosemary’s mom is a talented baker, and both Mom and Dad are very creative-as you will see from all the details of the party…

Rosie picked ‘Flowers’ as the theme for her party, there was a flower on each invitation, in her hair, on her dress, all around the house and on the cake!

Her Mom made this giant cupcake, and these beautiful tissue flowers that were hanging above the table too.

Mom made these (delicious!!) chocolate cupcakes, and Dad made the stand they are on, gotta love the homemade stuff!

Happy Birthday Princess Girl! I had so much fun, birthdays are such happy occasions and I love the kids running around all sticky from all the sugar! Hope you all enjoyed the images and to book us for your child’s birthday party please call a month in advance!

For my job I also get to photograph birthdays! Another joyous occasion!  I got to photograph Jerek along with his family a few months ago and so this was extra fun watching him have fun, and he wasn’t shy of me this time! He is talking a ton and he had lots of fun! He loves Diego and you can tell! Here are just a few of my favorites!

Here is his colorful Diego cake! It even had a figurine and a compass!

He never quite got the hang of it, he kept biting it! I think that’s what makes it extra cute!
