Jaci is Cassie's sister! I got to meet her at Cassie and Brian's wedding. I love Cassie as it is and after getting to know Jaci she is just as awesome. Laid back and sweet, and her hubsy Craig is the same way. Just down to earth happy people. Baby J is one lucky girl and I CAN'T wait to meet her so soon! We started out the session in baby J's room and then headed out to Oak Openings. I gotta say Jaci is one easy going preggo. She was willing to go barefoot and lay down in some tall grass… and she even got up herself! yeh. Those of us who have been pregs before know that is not as easy in the last month of pregnancy.

Craig and Jaci, so happy I got to spend some time with you guys. I am beyond thrilled for your new adventure in life. This little girl will be the best thing that has ever happened to you, believe me. I am dying to get the phone call and hear that she has arrived!!

Adam and Stacy had me up in MI doing their maternity photos this weekend. I am really excited because they also booked me for their birth documentary and their newborn photos! I told them we should grab coffee and get to know each other better. For big events like weddings and birth documentaries I like to know my clients so they don't see me as a stranger and so they know they can rely on me!

At our coffee 'date' I got to know a bit about their personalities. Adam is sarcastic and those of you who know me know that I LOVE sarcasm. I am a sucker for sarcasm and dry humor (ask my hubby….that pretty much sums him up!) So of course Adam and I get along great. On top of that Stacy and share that same quality of the love of laughter. Adam kept us laughing all through coffee.

These two not unlike my hubby and myself in many ways besides the personality similarities. They are also high school sweethearts AND they also chose not to find out the gender of their baby. Plus they are coming up on three years of marriage (again same as hubby and me). Needless to say I was excited to see them again for their maternity shoot and I am really freakin excited about documenting their baby's debut! (Also, I think it's safe to say that I am loving the word freakin lately. I just keeps popping out.)
 Alright here are my faves:

I LOVE that they have a countdown board…think I might do this when/if we have another one! Just shows how excited they are

They framed this and it's in their living room. PS you can see the cord! I've never seen an ultrasound like that before!

I wanted to show a side by side comparison. This is how different an image can look by just changing the settings on your camera. I got asked if I have a studio based on Kailey's maternity shoot. I don't have a studio, but what I do have is clients with big windows covered in sheers!

I just LOVE this shot. I love playing with shadows and reflections.

Adam and Stacy, I am thrilled for you guys (I know I've said it a billion times already!) Enjoy every minute of this little blessing from God! Before you know it this little one will be 3 1/2 months old like my Bean! Then 3 years and……I just can't think about them growing up so fast! Can't wait for that phone call! See you at the hospital!

Hey everyone, I know you've been dying to see more photos of my Beanie! I took some this week and will be posting tomorrow. AND as an extra special treat that next day I'll be posting some photos of my chubbalicious pup! I know I haven't posted a bunch of personal stuff lately which is silly since there is so much of it now!

I really had a great time with these two and I am really excited to meet baby Rankin!! We did the second part of the session downtown! Great colors and it wasn’t super cold (at least not in the wind). They were troopers! I loved the way these turned out. They rocked out their sessions! Hope you all enjoy!

P.S. If you are looking for a Saturday to book this summer do it quickly I only have one or two left!

 Sooo, yeh! My boy was gone on Sunday night and we had yet another amazing sunset so I took advantage. My real maternity session was with Tabitha but I figured I’d grab at least one that needed specific lighting! I am due in four weeks, which is another reason 2011 is going to rock! I am taking maternity leave beginning January 15. I will still be answering emails and filling orders of course but just not shooting for a couple weeks!

I can’t wait to meet my little one! Don’t worry, when the baby arrives there will be plenty of photos!
