As you all know (especially if you’ve been reading our blog:) we at Wellspring are just crazy about animals! We love our pets, we love meeting your pets, and we love to photograph them all! We’ve been doing more and more pet photography lately and it is so much fun:)

Here are some of my recent pet portraits…

This next little cutie pie is Bethany’s new puppy!

She’s less than 4lbs. and I can hardly keep from squeezing and kissing her! I’ve seen rodents bigger than her-lol:)

A lot of dogs lately and I’m loving it! I made a connection at the pug group last week! She has two pugs, Lady and Maddie, and a beagle hound mix named Scout! I had a blast today! They each had their own little personalities and they were so friendly, warmed up to me right away! I got some really great shots of each pup, plus some really crazy ones!

Meet Scout. He ALWAYS has a toy in his mouth! He’s super playful!

Meet Maddie. She is not a fan of squishy wet ground, but she is totally willing to play in it with me anyway!

Meet Lady. She ALWAYS has her tongue out, a trait I hope my pug shares!

They did such a great job for me! They grew tired after an hour long photo shoot and needed some snuggle time with mom!

Today I got to photograph a Pug Christmas Party! As you all know my husband and I will be bringing home our very own pug pup in January so of course I was super excited to see some other pugs and how they interact with people as well as other dogs! I also learned that not only are pugs super friendly they are eaters! A lot of shots I got today were of pugs begging for another bite of snack! Here are my favorites (it was hard to choose because pugs have such animated faces!)
