So Kati called me and wanted some photos done of her competitive dance team. Kati is the owner and teacher at the Dance Factory in Perrysburg. I gotta say I was beyond impressed. One her girls followed direction so well, and two somehow their bodies can do these crazy things! I mean sometimes they look superhuman! It was so fun and honestly I have been a huge fan of dance photography since college. I used to rent books from the library that were just photos of dancers doing crazy things (well crazy to me) and would pour over them for hours. I was so excited to get to try my hand at this kind of photography!

I love I was able to freeze them in time. You can really see the expressiveness and feel the emotion just from one movement!

Kati, thanks so much for having me out. I had a blast. Girls, hope your competition went well! You all looked fantastic and thanks for putting up with me and allowing me to see all your moves over and over! I just couldn't believe my eyes! Um…YEH {Toledo Photography}

ok so I'm sure some of you saw the photoshoot of Tabitha and me. We asked JEM photography to do a session of us so we can have some updated photos for the new website (yes a new website coming soon!). Gotta say Emy and Jenn rocked out our session and this is what they had to work with…..

Yeh….Big Shout Out to JEM for making me look waaay better than I do in real life. This is one of their shots and oh how it contrasts the rest of what they gave us! They made us look like supermodels when in reality…my face generally looks like this!

Welcome Emma and Mini Me {Toledo Photography}

Hey Everyone. I am sooo happy to introduce our newest photographer here at Wellspring Photography, Emma. She rocks. She has red hair (yeh that definitely scored her interview points), she loves cake (we'll see how much! I'm really unsure if anyone loves cake more than me. Tabitha might argue but really….I eat it more!) AND she is laid back. We liked her work and were excited that she wanted to be part of our team. You'll be seeing a lot of her around! For her first session with us she photographed my baby sister (I say baby but we are 18 months apart) and her boyfriend Matt. I call my sister Mini Me and duh why not? She looks so much like me only she's a mini. I realized she might be my only sibling I haven't photographed? Maybe my brother Chris but I'll solve that this summer! I think Emma did a smashing job. Yes I am feeling British….must be all this Mini Me talk. Here is my cute sister and her 'italian' boyfriend:

Nazareth Hall Bridal Show {Toledo Wedding Photography}

So I actually made it to this bridal show….no giving birth this time It was great meeting so many awesome couples and hearing the amazing and creative ways those boys asked their girls to marry them! We really did meet a lot of nice people. Someone actually said to us "You must work so hard and pay attention to details, just look at your booth! It’s so creative and you can see the work you put into it" That made our day! Putting the booth together is a lot of work (as my hubby and dad can attest to) Tabitha and I have big ideas…that usually require men to haul things in for us. Take a look for yourself:

It was great meeting new friends and seeing some existing friends as well as meeting all those starry eyed brides dreaming of the most romantic day of their lives! I seriously love my job! It’s so awesome! A big thank you to the Nazareth Hall staff! They did a great job setting the place up and helping vendors and brides alike!

Feeling Good {Toledo Photography}
