Hey all, remember this girl? Yeh, I hardly recognized her either! She has grown a TON since I have seen her! I was so excited when Melissa called to see if I was available to document Alysa's skating recital. (I have no idea if that is what it's called but let's just go with it). I was so impressed with Alysa (and the other skaters of course!) She did those twirly things and jumps and even ice skated backwards! I think many people are aware of how clumsy I am so needless to say just me trying to ice skate forwards is a big deal and here is Alysa just blowing me away! Not only was it fun to watch all the talent on the ice it was fun to photograph this too. I always like documentary style photography…being the observer from the outside. I kind of felt a bit like a reporter! Anyway, here are my favorite shots….it was 50's themed. I really think I would've been great at growing up in the fifties. Just love the clothes

Lacing up and getting ready to go! I hadn't been to the Bowling Green ice arena in some time and it brought back some great childhood memories.

One of my favorite things about the photos is her poodle skirt twirling everywhere!

I also love the lines Alysa creates with her arms. She is such a pretty ice skater to watch!

All the girls watching the grown ups skating around.

The star of the show!
Melissa, I really adore your family and I'm so glad I keep meeting more of them! I'm excited to see how much all the cousins have grown at our session in July!
Just a note, my weekdays are beginning to book up as well now so if you would like photos this spring or early summer be sure to shoot me an email
