Free Session! {Toledo Photography}

Alright everyone. I had this CRAZY idea! I got a text the other day of a drawing of Dr. Rufus and I LOVED it! My little sister Kacie and her friend Abigail constantly are drawing photos of my crazy looking dog. It got me to thinking….I really love seeing drawings and interpretations of that silly face. I want you all to get creative. You can make a drawing or a digital art piece featuring Dr. Rufus and either email it to me or mail it to me (if you want the address shoot me an email wellspringphoto@gmail.com) and the winner with the best/funniest Dr.Rufus drawing gets a free session (family, child or couples). You get all the prints with the package and everything else it comes with (editing etc). The deadline is May 31, 2011. There are no restrictions on size or who can enter (I ask no profanity though…not my cup o tea) I am excited to see entries and to see my client's creativity! It’s the little things {Toledo Photography}

I've been saving this photo for a couple weeks or so. I took it the morning I photographed the magnolia tree. As I was photographing I looked down and saw morning light shining through some dew on their grass. It made these beautiful mini rainbows! I'd never seen anything like it and it just put a smile on my face:)

Just a Note {Toledo Photography}

Hi everyone! I am getting booked up quickly for this season so if you would like to book a session with me be sure to do so quickly! I have one maybe two Saturdays left in April, one or two Saturdays in July, one Saturday in August, and one in September. There is not a lot left to choose from so if Saturdays are a necessity for your family be sure to email me ASAP. Otherwise hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 9 am to 4pm. This season is going to be great! I have many great couples and families lined up! (And course the cutie kiddos!!!!) Can’t wait to hear from all of you! And since every post is better with photos here are some of my beanstalk, as we have taken to calling him! These are from when he was a month old. Yes I know a month late but! Client photos are more important to finish quickly so I just edit his when I get an extra few minutes. I am in love with his eyelashes so I took some photos specifically dedicated to those. I’ll post some more of him and what else I adore!

You can really see them on his left eye there. He inherited his Dad’s perfect long curly eyelashes…he is a heart breaker…watch out girls!

I think he is exquisite:) I am just totally in love with this little boy! I love living through what I document for my clients. I feel a deeper connection now and I truly know how important the baby photos are! I had an inkling before but now I know they are priceless!

Comments for Cans! {Toledo Photography}

This year I wanted to put my blog to good use! I need the help of all my readers though! For every comment I get from today until November 22 I will buy a can or box of food to donate to the Toledo Food Bank! I want to make a good sized donation for Thanksgiving so be sure to get in on this action! Here are the rules for the comments:

Yes it is true! We are looking to hire an Assistant Photographer.

Qualifications we are looking for:

Studying Photography in school (or has studied photography)

Have a portfolio to show us

Knows how to use Nikon in and out: could correctly use entirely in manual mode

Also this is a must : LOVES EATING CAKE! Ok it’s not a must but Tabtiha and I would really appreciate it :)

Playing Around {Charlotte Senior Photography}

I have been looking at some of my new work lately and decided something was missing. I have these edgy images in urban settings and I need them to feel that way beyond the regular color correcting and what I found after some digging was a real treasure and I wanted to share it with you! Please leave comments and vote if it works in enhancing the edgy urban feel I am going for! I just took some examples from the past couple of sessions!

You can see the cooler tones and the higher contrast as well as the overall vibrant color. I feel if city noise had a color this would be it!

I really love this filter with brick (above) and corrugated metal (in image below).
