Steve and Sarah had an awesome wedding with the reception held at the Toledo Zoo! Of course, the zoo is one of my favorite places to visit with the hubster and Beanie AND the staff is amazing so I knew we'd have a fun day. They let us play on the carousel (more on that later) and traipse around the whole place and even educated us on some animals….there is a freakin' giant bird called a bustard….'nuff said. Alright,this post is huge and I'm dying to share!

They have a couple of seriously cute nieces and they were just making some seriously cute moments during the ceremony…so not only did the sweet moments between Sarah and Steve happen but these tiny ones were having cute moments on their own! Talk about snap happy!

Yeh, cutie pie and some hott shoes! This is one of my fave photos!

After the ceremony Steve and Sarah treated their bridal party to Mr. Freeze! What a fun way to celebrate the marriage! (Sarah grew up on Mr.Freeze which I did too…so I was really excited)

Lady and the Tramp anyone?? I actually cry when I watch that movie now…I think this job is making me sappier than I used to be!

Ok now on to the carousel…imagine me doing the usual bending down and twisting to get the shot while standing backwards on a quick moving carousel going around and around…yeh. Talk about testing my balance. It was so fun though, I was bending and twisting and walking backwards all while the bridal party was going around and around and up and down! Needless to say these are the hardest shots I've ever had to capture but boy do I LOVE  challenge, and I was happy with what I grabbed! Thank you staff members for letting me crazy!

Had to throw this in for the bridal party, I was all hunkered down trying to grab a shot of the whole party and making sure to get Steve and Sarah's face and up pops this horse face!! Scared the tar out of me and so I squealed and they were just laughing at me…always happy to entertain! Now you can all see what made me squeak!

Steve and Sarah are both pilots so they got a plane cake for their groom's cake! Email Jennifer if you would like her to make you a custom cake this cool!

Sarah asked to get this special photo with her Dad~it was a recreation of one from her childhood. She was explaining to me kind of what it looked like. Sarah I hope I got what you wanted, I am getting teary just looking at these two side by side:) Thanks for sharing the original with me after your wedding!

I just had to grab a couple more shots of that beautiful blue diamond of hers!

Wow. There is so much to say about these two. By the time their wedding day came around I felt like Jaime and I had been friends for years! I really loved watching these two. They balance each other well, Jeff has this quiet way about him. Calm, cool and he definitely lets Jaime shine. Jaime brings Jeff out of his shell, and you can tell she just adores him. Plus they just can't stop laughing when they are together. On top of all of this both of their families and all their friends totally rock. They were about the kindest group of people I've ever met! Lots of hugging going around and just smiles all day. Alrighty, I'm going on and on here's some of my faves:

Just a quick peek from last night's wedding! It was AH-MAZING!

These next few are by Tristan from Tristan Ryan photography. He asked me to be his mentor a few months back and he drove here allll the way up from Greensboro, NC to tag a long a wedding for a learning experience! I'd say he did pretty dang well!

Kylie and Angelo are truly perfect for one another. They kept sneaking these looks of pure joy at each other all throughout the day! You could easily see their excitement to finally become family. They are both fairly quiet and content people and Emma and I were just loving it. They were just soo cute together and we were thrilled to be their photographers. I am not sure how many times I cried at this one….more than what I normally cry at weddings (yes I know photograph them every weekend but I can't help it! I am who I am…I'll probably cry at every wedding of my career!) Anyway, here they are the two lovebirds:

Brides~This shows that even with a first look your man will still be just as excited to see you walk down the aisle! Traditional down the aisle first sight or the trendy new first look…either choice is great! Be sure to choose what you really want on your big day!

I LOVED this wedding from last Saturday. Easily ranks up there in my top three faves! Our bride, Melissa, was about the most perfect looking bride I've ever seen! Seriously, you'll see. Plus she has this grace and charm about her….making her extra sweet. Andy is a handsome military man and he is clever and easy going. All this makes for fantastic day but it was these things in combination with their awesome families and the excellent details that made it so awesome! Alright here we go:

Missy got her jewelry from Gallippo's. Yeh…it's gorgeous! Gallippo's also customized her dress. Basically they took off the entire train and then some and created a jacket for her. It changed the dress completely into a sweet vintages 50's sweetheart dress. ::sigh:: PS check out those baby blues!

Her dress had this flower on it and her mom found the thread and repeated the detail in her shoe! LOVE it!

After the ceremony they had their get away in this cool 50's Ford! Plus we got to go to Melissa's family farm….I felt very lucky that I had all these great back grounds and details PLUS! a ton of time to use it! A photog's dream!

Her lovely flowers were created by Bartz Viviano. They did an excellent job!

It's ridiculous how much I love barns! I want to own one just so I can use it for sessions!

They are naturally this sweet to one another, like I said…awesome couple.

There's that handsome groom! He was full of smiles that day! He knows he snagged a good one!

One of the great moments of the reception…Missy's Dad dedicated a song to her Mom. Look how she looks at her husband…that is real love right there! After all those years she still looks at him with sparkles in her eyes!

The kids watching grown ups get photos! We had 35 kids under 12 years at this wedding….it was so fun! They were quite the dancers too!

Allison caught different angles than I did. She also caught random moments I didn't see when I was setting up the next shot like the couple of images below:

LOVE the way he is looking at her in this one. Plus even from the back you can tell Missy is being saucy! Glad Allison caught this in between time!

Yes….they had cheesecake…and a cheesecake bar. And yes…Tabitha was jealous! (I texted her to let her know what she was missing out on…although I'm sure they had delicious cake at her wedding too!)

(Tim-haha) Andy and Melissa, thank you so much for choosing us to be part of your special day.  It was lovely and sweet and Allison and I had such a blast!
