Happy Mother’s Day {Toledo Children Photography}

All these kiddos were gathered together by their parents to give grandma a WONDERFUL mother's day gift! You all know Maggie and Gracie. They are like Wellspring celebrities! Here are their cousins! Sweet kids, all five. It was a great day, I got to shoot in downtown Whitehouse, and use some new backgrounds. So fun! Hope grandma liked her present! She has some cute grandbabies.

Sweet Maggie and Gracie. So much time has passed since their last photos. They have grown so much!

Here are the girls in their sweet hats…Angie you always do such a good job dressing them! Meet their cousins, Layne, Chase, and Charlotte. Those big brothers are pretty smitten with that little girl.

ummm Katrina? Good luck keeping the girls away from these boys!! Seriously look how handsome.

Thank you all so much for having me out to help with this gift for your mom/grandma for mother's day! I had a great time meeting more cousins and I even got to hold Charlotte for a minute . I have been one lucky lady snuggling so many babies lately! My own Bean will snuggle but not like when he was a tiny Bean!! Plus it's just fun to hang out with lovely kids. They kept making me laugh and I got a peak into their little world of their own made up games and nicknames. I always think you can learn a lot from keeps about keeping life simple.

Dane {Newborn Photography}

So, doing newborn sessions is about one of my favorite parts of my job. They are just so tiny and new and cuddly! Dane reminded me a smidge of my own little Bean. They don't really look alike just more personality. Dane is so laid back and just a happy guy. He's so cute I wanted to smoosh his face right off!

I've done three newborn sessions since Bean turned one and he still seemed like my little guy….after Dane…Bean suddenly looked huge!

I just love when kids wear their parents clothes! How cute! These mommas are coming with some creative ideas lately! Pinterest anyone?

Sam and Laura~ Engaged {Elmore Couples Photography}

So Sam and Laura totally rock. They are sweet and oh so funny and just generally happy to be around each other. They asked me to come out to Schedel Gardens in Elmore, Ohio to photograph their engagement session. I was so happy to be going to a new location and let me tell you…that place is FAB! I could have stayed all day (but really who wants paparazzi in their face all day?). I really did have such a fun time, my cheeks hurt from smiling when we left.

How could she not fall for those dimples?!?

They were always laughing (probably somewhat at me too…I think we ALL know how clumsy I am!). I really love to laugh, one of my fave activities so I love being around people who make it easy for me to laugh!

Laura is so stinkin pretty. She has these beautiful clear blue eyes and such a big smile! I know I am partial to my WP brides and grooms but mine are the best!

That's right ladies…Sam custom designed that sucker! So gorgeous!

EFG {Toledo Children Photography}

Esther, Felix, and Gideon have graced the blog many times. They are your typical sweet kiddos. The boys love to run and be wild and Esther is such the girly girl. I asked her "is it crazy having two brothers?" and she rolled her eyes and said "yeh all the time." Gotta love it. Esther is at an age now where she LOVES getting her photo taken. I just love this stage with kids. The age where they can sit still and they like looking at photos of themselves and it's before the awkward I am 12 stage. Felix and Gideon were still uninterested in getting photos taken but they were willing to hang out with me for a little bit!

Mr. Gideon. I think pre-baby me would have categorized this photo as a blooper and tucked it away. However, post baby me (or current baby me? I mean I still have the baby lol) has a feeling this just might be a "Gideon" expression. As a mama I know those are MY favorites of Bean.

Still can't believe this was Gideon not so long ago!

Felix! He has tons of his own photo idea and I just let him run with it. (I have many little clients who may one day be creatives themselves!)

Then there is Esther. She blows me away! Prettiest little thing and as sweet as pie.

She wanted to be photographed all day and sometimes I think that would just be a fun day!

Erin and Joey, thank you so much for letting me hang out with your kids and freeze their sweet faces in time. The rest will be up tomorrow! There is TONS more coming all week on the blog. Babies all over the place!

Karl + Kim~Engaged {Toledo Couples Photography}

Kim and Karl booked me FOREVER ago! They remind me of hubs and myself. When their wedding rolls around this winter they will have been together around 7 years! (Just like me and hubs!) Karl can really make Kim laugh, it's really sweet. They also have an adorable 4 year old Connor. He wasn't at the shoot but I met him at Kim's sister's wedding (back when I was big pregnant!). I always love a winter wedding so I know I'm stoked! The shoot was fun too, Karl and Kim are really relaxed and are just easy to be around.

Norah {Toledo Kid Photographer}

I can't believe Norah is turning two already. She is also about to be a big sister! She is just talking all the time and she still loves to jump. She had all kinds of things to tell me. She morphed from a baby to a little girl in what seems like overnight. Love this gorgeous little one!

The Dance Factory {Toledo Photography}

So Kati called me and wanted some photos done of her competitive dance team. Kati is the owner and teacher at the Dance Factory in Perrysburg. I gotta say I was beyond impressed. One her girls followed direction so well, and two somehow their bodies can do these crazy things! I mean sometimes they look superhuman! It was so fun and honestly I have been a huge fan of dance photography since college. I used to rent books from the library that were just photos of dancers doing crazy things (well crazy to me) and would pour over them for hours. I was so excited to get to try my hand at this kind of photography!

I love I was able to freeze them in time. You can really see the expressiveness and feel the emotion just from one movement!

LOVE the hair! Shows how fast she is really going!

She is really flying that high! I couldn't believe it!

My favorite two moves I saw. I think it's the form they are in as well as the elegance.

Kati, thanks so much for having me out. I had a blast. Girls, hope your competition went well! You all looked fantastic and thanks for putting up with me and allowing me to see all your moves over and over! I just couldn't believe my eyes! Beanie is ONE!

Seriously how did that happen!?!? Yes my precious little boy is a year. It flew by so fast, I feel like just yesterday I found out I was going to be a Momma. Here he is, running (literally) everywhere, talking my ear off, and learning new things every day. He is about the happiest guy I have ever seen (besides hubs…if I didn't know better I'd think those two get happy injections. They are NEVER grumpy!) and he is so sweet and clever! I can't believe he went from this….

….to this! Honestly that is so much growing and changing in just one year! I think you can tell what a sassy fella he is

His favorite toys right now are his sock monkeys…and his Mimi and Poppi just keep giving him more! Mostly he chews on them but they are the only stuffed animals he likes. Plus we gave him a sock monkey party (more on that later.)

Better enjoy those cute buns….it's the last time you will see them I figure tooshy shots are fine until a year. They are too cute!!

IF you are thinking that's the coolest hoodie ever….you'd be right. Beanie knows it too, he growls when he wears it. (Although he growls all the time so it's hard to be sure it's the hoodie:P)

LOVE that smile, the one on the right is precious to me. He likes to run around arms up when he's super happy. Whenever we say arms up he will throw them up and just run as fast as he can with a big smile on his face. He's not smiling too much there because he had never stepped on grass before and hadn't given a verdict on it yet

He does this a lot too…smacks the side of his head. He's very expressive…I don't know who he gets that from

Bean thinks his Daddy is FUN-NY. Momma…eh..not so much. I am a good tickler, but Daddy is the funny one:) I don't get boy humor though…punching and kicking and spitting. Outfit courtesy of Mimi.

I've been obsessed with his profile ever since Tabitha showed it to me. I can't decide if I wanna grab his face and smooch him or rip my eyes out because he's so cute I might melt!

Most of the photos I took of Bean throughout the year were taken at my own home, except for these last ones in the fedora. Now you all know that you have great spots for photos in your home. Even if you don't see them yourself I will!
I can't believe he is a year, (he's actually 14 months today and he's been walking for 5 months yowza) and I still can't believe how much I love him. Sometimes I just look at him and think I just may explode! He's brought so much joy, love, and laughter into our house. Hubs and I think what did we ever do without him? I mean really. I guess we slept in on weekends…that's probably about it. He keeps us on our toes and makes us better people.
FYI we are not going to be trying for another soon, so no comments please! We are enjoying Beanie too much to worry about that right now Rest assured whenever that does happen you'll know!

Deagan {Toledo Newborn Photography}

I am partial to this little one. He was super relaxed and the session was done in special circumstances. They are out of towners and it is Sunday (which is always packed with family stuff) so we had a 20 minute window. I'd say he did great! His Momma tells me he hates to be nakey and unswaddled so I was extra careful! I got what I wanted and am happy to share! I couldn't quit kissing this one, and he made some darn cute faces too!

He has a beautiful profile!

He woke up right at the end and I got to see his amazing eye color! They almost look teal!

Whoever doesn't smile at this one is nuts! Just too sweet!

Baby Deagan, so happy I got to hog you to myself today, even if for a short while! I look forward to watching you grow (not too fast!). You are just a sweet boy and I hope I can cuddle you again soon! Mike, Bekka, and big sister Gabriella, congratulations and I hope you all are adjusting and getting some sleep and just enjoying your new love bug!

Meet Cullen {Toledo Newborn Photography}

Getting a session set up for this guy has been quite the ordeal. He has been in and out of the NICU for about half of his life so far. They finally figured out what is going on and he is doing beautifully. Not to mention he is surrounded by a ton of people who are pulling for him and loving on him and praying for him. He is a real cuddle bug and big brother Jerek could not have been happier about finally having his own little baby! Those two are already great friends!

Here he is! Mr.Chipmunk as I call him in my head. He has the best cheeks. It took every ounce of my will power not to constantly pinch them. I mean I did sneak a couple in, but I had some work to do too!

Their growing family. ::sigh:: I loved the newborn stage and all the learning and watching and growing for all of us. I bet it's twice as awesome watching one of your kids feel that same way about your new kid!

Love the look on Jerek's face! PS the shirts are from Lollypop. She has the cutest clothes EVER!!! PS I also love how the dinosaurs are hugging on the shirts:)

His curly toes, and yes….all his hair. Still more hair than my Bean. I wasn't sure how I felt about photographing the little scabs on his feet but honestly I think it adds to the photo. It tells Cullen's story. He had a dramatic entrance into this world, one his parents will never forget. Just a good reminder that anyone who gets to have a child is lucky, and having a healthy baby should only be pure joy. Thankfully Cullen's health is on the mend and that's something to be thankful for.

Mr.Chipmunk kept tickling Jerek! Sticking his tiny hand in Jerek's underarm! He's so little yet already sassy!

Chipmunk makes the best expressions, and check out that chin! You can tell he's eating well!

There's those cheeks again!

Erin and Jason, so happy for your little addition and that he is doing well. He's really cute and it has been awesome watching Jerek blossom into his new role! I hope you all are getting some sleep and many many cuddles
